Highly Qualified Jobs (EU Blue Card):

The EU Blue Card is a residence permit for foreigners with high qualifications in specialized fields. Eligible candidates must hold relevant higher education or have at least five years of professional experience, a signed work contract of at least one year, and a salary not below 150% of the national average.

Working in Poland:

Issued to foreign workers with legal employment in Poland, allowing residence for 3 months to 3 years. Requirements include a minimum wage and submission of complete, accurate documents from both the applicant and employer.

Humanitarian Grounds (Humanitarian Visa):

Designed for citizens of Belarus and others seeking residence on humanitarian grounds. Holders of a D21 humanitarian visa can receive a residence card valid for up to 3 years.

Internships and Training Programs:

Foreigners participating in internships or vocational training in Poland may apply for a temporary residence permit. Valid enrollment in a registered program and a supporting agreement with the organization are required.

Research and Scientific Activities:​

Issued to researchers and scientists engaged in projects or teaching at Polish institutions. Applicants need a formal invitation or contract with the institution.

Conducting Business in Poland:

Available for foreign entrepreneurs owning or managing a Polish business. Requirements include proof of the company’s financial stability and legal operations, with supporting documentation on profits, taxes, and sales volumes. The residence period ranges from 3 months to 3 years. If business is the main activity, it must be specified as the primary reason for the stay.

Family Reunification:

Allows legal residents or Polish citizens to sponsor residence cards for family members, including spouses, minor children, dependents needing care, and sometimes common-law partners. The sponsor’s residence permit must remain valid for at least another year, and all applicants must be in legal residence in Poland.
